Chocolate Burfi Recipe

Preparation Time:10 mines | Cooking Time : 15 mines | Makes:9 burfis

ingredients


Milk powder – 2 cup
Unsweetened Coco powder - 1 table spoon
Sugar - 1 cup
coconut powder 1 table spoon
Melted Ghee - 2 tsp
Pistachios - 4 chopped finely
Cardamom powder ½ yea spoon
Milk ½ cup

Method


Heat nonstick pan, add melted ghee, milk, milk powder and sugar, mix it and stir it until it get soft.
Remove the pan and divide the mixture into four parts.
Take one third part of mixture in a bowl and mix cocoa powder, chocolate essence in it. Set it in a microwave for 30 seconds.
Now take greased tray and set the bowl mixture into it. Keep it in a refrigerator for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes take ¼ part of mixture in bowl and add coconut powder and cardamom powder and heat it for 10 seconds in microwave.
Now pour it on the chocolate mixture prepared before and spread gently. Keep it in refrigerator atleast for 1 hour.
Take out tray and cut the pieces into square shape and serve!

Paneer dum biryani

Paneer dum biryani

Ingredients-

For paneer marination:

150 grams paneer
 1 cup gin
1 tea spoon ginger paste
1 tea spoon garlic paste
2 green chilies chopped
1 table spoon chopped coriander leaves
½ table spoon chopped mint leaves
½  tea spoon turmeric powder
½  tea spoon red chili powder
½  tea spoon  garam masala powder
½ tea spoon  coriander powder
1 tea spoon  lime juice
salt to taste

Cooking the rice:

1 ½  cup basmati rice
6 cups water
1tea spoon salt
2 inch cinnamon
2 medium bay leaf
2 to 3 cloves
2 to 3 green cardamoms
Other prepping -
½ cup milk
15 -16  saffron strands
½ cup ghee
1 table spoon chopped coriander leave
2 medium to large onions chopped
4-5 cashews
4-5 almonds
4-5 raisons

Method-

Warm  ½ cup milk, add 15 to 16 saffron strands to the milk. Stir and keep aside.
 Take hung curd in a mixing bowl.
Add ginger garlic paste, chopped green chilies, chopped coriander leaves and chopped mint leaves & mix well. Now add the all spices and salt to taste, mix again.
Then add  ½ of the fried onions and paneer cubes.
Mix gently. Cover and keep the marinated paneer aside for 30 minutes.
Fry some cashews, almonds, raisons
Making the rice:
 Soak the rice in water for 30 minutes.
Bring 6 cups water to a rolling boil in a pot.
Add whole spices - cinnamon, bay leaf ,  cloves ,  green cardamoms &  add 1 tsp salt, now add the soaked rice.
 Rice grains have to be cooked till 75%.  Drain the rice in a colander. You can also rinse the rice grains to remove starch if any and to stop the grains from cooking. Cover with a lid and keep the rice aside.
Layering and dum biryani-
Add the same oil in which we fried the onions to a pan
Add the marinated paneer and layer neatly.
Mix biryani masala in rice
Make a rice layer now. Add all the rice. i have just made two layers. If you want you can make 4 layers.
Add the remaining fried onions, fried nuts, 1 tbsp chopped coriander and ½ tbsp mint leaves.
Sprinkle the saffron flavored colored milk & 1 table spoon ghee.
Cover with a foil then put the lid tightly on the pan and place it on a tava . For the first 12- 15 minutes dum cook the biryani on a lower the flame
 Serve paneer biryani hot with mint leaves raita and cucumber salad.

Ingredients

1 cup suji

½ cup curd

1 green chilly (chopped)

Green coriander (chopped)

Salt to taste

½ tea spoon baking soda

1 pouch Maggie magic masala

1 tea spoon mustard seeds

Oil for greasing

Method

Take a mixing bowl, mix all the ingredients except Maggie magic masala

Make a batter of thick consistency

Heat the appe mould on a medium flame and grease it using a little oil.

Pour 1 tbsp of the batter into each mould.

Cook till the lower surface becomes golden brown and then turn each appe upside down using a fork so as to cook them from the other side using a little oil.

Repeat with the remaining batter to make more appe.

Sprinkle Maggie magic masala on it and serve.

we can serve it with chutney also.

Ingredients

1 cup curd
1 cup suji
¾ cup sugar
2 pinches saffron
1 table spoon grated dry fruits
½ table spoon oil

Method

-Preheat oven to 180.c & greased in cake tin.
-In a bowl mix curd, suji, sugar, saffron
& grated dry fruits.
-Pour prepared batter into the cake tin and bake in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
-Serve them after 20-30 minutes.

White chocolate fudge with oreo

Ingredients:

100gm White chocolate
1 cup milkmaid
25 gm salted butter
½ cup milk powder
1 tea spoon chocolate Essence
½ tea spoon salt
8-10 Oreo biscuit

Method:

Take heavy pan put butter in it and melt it.
Now add chocolate in small pieces, let it meltdown and add milk maid.
After that add salt, chocolate Essence, milk powder, mix it properly till it became a nice dough.
Now mix crushed Oreo biscuit  into that dough and keep it aside.
Set that dough into the greased tin and let it cool down.

And after that cut it into small pieces.
